Install by device

iPhone & iPad (Safari)

  1. Open hausmart.co.uk in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Choose “Add to Home Screen”, then tap Add.

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open hausmart.co.uk in Chrome.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu, top right.
  3. Choose “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.

Mac, Windows & Linux (Chrome or Edge)

  1. Open hausmart.co.uk in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Click the install icon in the address bar, or open the browser menu.
  3. Choose “Install HausMart” — it opens in its own window.

Prefer a proper desktop app?

Download the HausMart desktop shell: a small package that runs HausMart in its own window with its own dock or taskbar icon, on macOS, Windows and Linux. It needs Node.js installed, and the included README walks through the two commands to run it — or to build a standalone application file you can keep.

  1. Unzip the download.
  2. Install Node.js from nodejs.org if you don't have it, then run npm install inside the folder.
  3. Run npm start to open HausMart in its own window.
  4. Optional: run npm run package:mac (or :win / :linux) to build a standalone app.
